PRK and how does it compare? PRK is laser vision correction without the creation of a flap. It takes a bit longer for the vision to clear and there tends to be a bit more pain in the first few days. In the end, visual results tend to be similar to LASIK. PRK is sometimes preferred if the cornea is too thin for LASIK. Photorefractive Keratotomy
